How to Measure?

MEASUREMENT TIPS

[A] Height Of Person: Stand next to a wall, put a ruler horizontally on your head and mark at the point where the ruler reach the wall. Then measure the distance from the floor to the mark.

[B] Waist Length: Measure down the back from the base of the collar to the length required (Waist Point).

[C] Sleeve Length: With arm relaxed at side and elbow slightly bent, measure from over point of shoulder, and down outside of arm past elbow to wrist. As a guide, you should not make the tape too snug. you only just be able to feel the tape when measuring.

[D] External Leg Length: keeping the measure taut, measure from the top of the waistband on a pair of trousers (not jeans), down to where you wish the bottom of the trousers to end. please bear in mind the fit you want over the shoe as this will affect the desired length.

[E] Crotch to Ground: keeping the measure taut, measure from the lowest part of the crotch, down to ground.

[F] Chest Girth: This measurement is taken at the fullest part of your chest (across your nipples) under the arms, closely around the body.

[G] Breast Girth (Women's Only):: This measurement is taken at the fullest part of your chest (across your nipples) under the arms, closely around the body.

[H] Chest Girth: This measurement is taken just below to your breast under the arms, closely around the body.

[G] Bicep Girth (Men's Only): Wrap the tape measure tightly around your upper arm i.e. widest part of upper arm just underneath your underarm.

[H] Waist Girth: Measure around the body at your natural waist level.

[I] Hips Girth: Measure around your hips and buttocks at their widest point on a pair of well-fitting trousers (not jeans). please make sure the tape is not restrictive and your pockets are empty. as a guide, when measuring, you only just be able to feel the tape. you should not make the tape too snug.

[J] Neck Girth: Just below your adam’s apple, take a skin tight measurement around your neck.

Do not take your own measurements.
Measurements must be taken by a second party.

Tie a string around waistline for consistent measurements.

Refer to diagrams for exact points of measurements.
When Measuring, stand tall with your muscles relaxed and feet together.

Use a Flexible measuring take, such as plastic or cloth.
Don't trust your memory, be sure to write the measurements.

Its better if you measure yourself on your bare skin, not over cloths.

When measuring, apply constant pressure to the tape (so it doesn't sag) with our pinching the skin.

Measure under the same conditions each time, such as same clothes or none at all.
